In 2021 I went on a short sabbatical to take a break from my own escape room, clueQuest. I wanted to figure out what my next big entreprenuerial adventure should be. I quickly realised that I would like to share the knowledge I gained with clueQuest to save other escape room owners. from the mistakes I’ve made during my carreer. So I established Zolitopia a consulting company for escape rooms. Since 2021 I have:

• Helped launching new escape room businesses from scratch

• Worked with dozens of owners from the UK and the US

• Helped revitalise marketing and improve sales numbers

• Trained marketing and operations managers

• Spoke at TransWolrd 2023 and published dozens of blogs.

I have spent the last 16 years building and running my own businesses and in 2013 I co-founded clueQuest the UK’s longest running escape room.

Through a painstaking process I have grown clueQuest from a small family business to a globally recognised multinational company. Just a few things about clueQuest to give you perspective of my background:

• We have TERPECA shortlisted escape rooms. Also have outdoor and play at home games.

• Despite multiple lockdowns we survived COVID and came out at the other end stronger than ever before.

• We had over 500,000 customers and have more than 6,000 five star reviews across multiple platforms

• We operate a 800 sqm venue with a large conference room and meeting spaces.

• We have a self sufficient multinational team of 50 employees.
