What are the results?

This will depend on the project we are working on and the current state of your ER but I’ve collected a few examples from my clients to give you an idea of what we could achieve for your escape room.

  • I’ve trained up a marketing intern and we revitalised this escape rooms’ marketing.

    We started sending regular promo emails, redid the website and run several promotional campaigns throught the year.

    The 15% growth was achieved despite the fact that capacity was down for almost a year by a whole room as that was being replaced with a new one.

  • 77% growth in vouchers sales compared to the previous year.

    We’ve achieved this by utilising the email list to the fullest, running a social media campaign and heavily advertising the vouchers on site.

  • We achieved this growth by writing a new pitch for the GMs. We’ve also tweaked the on site experience and implemented a new software for follow up emails.

    The business collected more reviews in a year than it did in it’s first 7 years.

  • This client had an issue with staff turnover taking up a considerable amount of his time to recruit new GMs.

    We’ve introduced new contracts, policies and perks for the staff. This was paired with more training and establishing the company culture.

    In a year staff turnover decreased by 50% and key team members were put in place to strenghten the operational strucutre.

How much does this cost?

Every project is custom so the price will be tailored to your needs and resources.

The cost will depend on the level of my involvement, the specific project details and the amount of people I’m working with during the project.

  • There are two ends of the scale to my involvement in your project and everything between:

    Companion: I essentially advise you on the project and help you create the step by step plan, then you delegate the tasks to your team in place.

    Champion: I am very much in the trenches with the team. I take part in creating the actual end product such as company policies or graphic designs for a marketing campaign.

  • Some projects are longer than others. A Christmas campaign for example is a fixed 2-3 month project where as building up a self sustaining team can take up even years.

    So this depends on the project and the current state of things.

  • You might only have time to meet twice every month and have a team in place to execute the things we discuss.

    Maybe this is a fast paced project and I’m meeting you and other team members every week and I am also involved in creating the end product such as graphic designs for a marketing campaign.

Hi, I’m Zoli an ER owner myself.

I have spent the last 16 years building and running my own businesses and in 2013 I co-founded clueQuest the UK’s longest running escape room.

I have grown clueQuest from a small family business to a globally recognised multinational company:

  • TERPECA shortlisted escape rooms, outdoor and play at home games.

  • 800 sqm venue with a conference room and meeting spaces

In 2021 I’ve established Zolitopia a consulting company for escape room owners to pass on my knowledge to other owners. Since then I have:
